LOCATION: Historic Londontown, Edgewater, MD  

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The London Town staff wishes to proactively start planning for next year’s program. The USMCHC will once again be a primary partner in this highly specialized interpretive program revolving around Historic Londontown, Maryland and the early days of the American Revolution. The program will focus on 1776 Londontown in the days immediately following the signing of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress in Philadelphia. Although the Historic site hopes to go back to the standard program that we have presented in the past, the organizational structure, staffing, and presentation methods may have to be adapted based on what COVID restrictions that may still be in place. NOTE: The program’s structure is contingent on the COVID-19 pandemic and what restrictions that may still be in place.
