LOCATION: Eisenhower Farm National Historical Site, Gettysburg, PA  

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The USMCHC has again been ask to assist with a NPS program commemorating America’s involvement in World War Two and U.S. Armed Forces participation and expansion during the second year of the war. The Historical Company will look at the expansion of the Marines Corps into a multiple division Fleet Marine Force, advancements in technology, the addition of the Women’s Marine Reserves and the Montford Point African-American Marines, along with offensive amphibious operations in the Pacific during 1943. The overall program will also look at direct ties with Gettysburg, PA and the U.S. Forces and CCC stationed there. NOTE: This will be a dominantly living-history based program with exhibits.
