October 16 @ 8:00 am - October 18 @ 5:00 pm

DATE: 16-18 October 2026, Friday (setup), Saturday-Sunday

LOCATION: Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, WV

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Marine Corps Historical Company, working as a partner with the National Park Service, will once again present the annual program commemorating the Anniversary of the infamous John Brown Raid. This is a keystone program for both the Park and the Historical Company. This year’s dates fall on the actual anniversary of the raid. Planned activities include exhibits, talks, and demonstrations revolving around the Marine involvement in the John Brown Raid.  The program will not only look at the role of the Marines but also the various points of view of the local citizens, the Virginia and Maryland militias, and Brown and his raiders. NOTE: This will be a manpower sensitive program requiring Marines and members to fill US Marine, militia, raider, and civilian living-history roles.

An application will be sent out via e-mail for this program. Once received please complete and return the application form ASAP if you plan to participate. For further information contact GySgt Williams, di************@*ol.com .
