LOCATION: Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, WV  

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Marine Corps Historical Company, working as a partner with the National Park Service, will again present a program commemorating the Anniversary of the infamous John Brown Raid. Planned activities over the two days include exhibits, tours, and demonstrations revolving around the Marine involvement in the John Brown Raid.  With this year marking the 160th Anniversary of the raid we are looking at expanding the program with additional personnel representing not only Marines, but both Virginia and Maryland militia, citizens, and additional raiders.
