LOCATION: Petersburg National Battlefield, City Point, VA

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The USMCHC supporting the National Park Service and the Petersburg National Battlefield staff will present a combination living history and exhibit program which will look at the Marines and sailors that were involved in the various operation against Richmond and Petersburg during the Civil War. The overall objective will be to show how developments and actions in the 1860’s have had an impact on today’s Navy and Marine Corps and the advancements in technology we have made over the past 155 years.
