LOCATION: Historic London Town, Edgewater, MD  

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The USMCHC will once again support a highly specialized interpretive program revolving around Historic London Town, Maryland, and the early days of the American Revolution. The program will focus on 1776 London Town in the days immediately following the signing of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress in Philadelphia. The Historical Company will provide interpretive teams representing a Continental Marine Recruiting Party and Maryland State Marines, along with HC staff representing various civilians and citizens of London Town. This is a rapidly growing high profile program looking at the people of London town and their many points of view as our fledgling nation declared its independence from England. NOTE: This will be a manpower sensitive program requiring Marines and members to fill both military and civilian living-history rolls.
