PROGRAM: “Revolutionary Londontown; 1776 and the Declaration of Independence” Living History Interpretive Program

LOCATION: Historic Londontown, Edgewater, MD         

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The USMCHC will once again support a highly specialized interpretive program revolving around Historic Londontown, Maryland and the early days of the American Revolution. The program will focus on 1776 Londontown in the days immediately following the signing of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress in Philadelphia. The Historical Company will provide an interpretive team representing a Continental Marine Recruiting Party, along with HC staff representing various civilians and citizens of Londontown.
