PROGRAM: “W. Britain Military Miniatures Symposium”

LOCATION: Gettysburg, PA   

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Historical Company has been asked to present lectures and exhibits on the uniforms and battles of the U.S. Marines as part of the W. Britain Collectors’ Club annual symposium. Thee first lecture will be on “The History and Evolution of the Marine Uniform, 1740-1900.” The second lecture, titled “The Marines of ‘61” will look at the U.S. Marine Battalion at the Battle of 1st Manassas. The Historical Company will also provide an exhibit called “From Concept to Finished Figure,” which will look at several W. Britain Marine figures from the the original unifrom to modeling sessions through to the finished product.  An application will not be sent out for this program.
